Terms and Conditions

Fixed Price Clarification

All quoted prices are fixed and include the following:

  • Supply and installation of the solar PV system
  • Mounting system including all clips and fixings
  • Standard electrical installation including wiring and connection
  • Dedicated separate consumer unit
  • System commissioning and handover
  • MCS certification
  • Compliance with Building Regulations Part P (Electrical Safety) including certification
  • Manufacturer warranties (panels, inverter, and workmanship)
  • System monitoring app setup on a compatible smart device
  • Standard scaffolding required for installation

Exclusions / Additional Costs

The following are not included unless explicitly stated:

  • Local authority permits, permissions, or planning applications (if required)
  • Additional scaffolding due to site-specific constraints (e.g. restricted access, unusual roof design)
  • Electrical upgrades outside standard installation scope
  • Remedial works to roof or structure
  • Installations requiring a supply cable run exceeding 5 metres from the incoming electrical supply/meter position. Additional cable will be charged at £50 per metre beyond the included 5 metres.

Scaffolding

Standard scaffolding is included, based on typical installation requirements for safe roof access.

The following are not included and may incur additional costs:

  • Restricted or limited access to the property
  • Non-standard scaffolding requirements (e.g. conservatories, extensions, complex roof structures)
  • Additional lifts, edge protection, or specialist access equipment
  • Scaffolding required for extended durations beyond the installation period
  • Road permits, pavement licences, or traffic management requirements

Where additional scaffolding or permits are required, any associated costs will be identified following site survey and agreed prior to installation.

Equipment Location

The inverter, battery (if applicable), and dedicated consumer unit will be installed in one of the following preferred locations:

  • Garage
  • External wall (weatherproof installation)
  • Utility or suitable non-habitable space (subject to approval)

We do not install equipment in the following locations:

  • Loft or roof space
  • Under stairs
  • Inside main living areas of the home

If no suitable preferred location is available, alternative arrangements may be considered subject to site survey and may incur additional costs.
